Overview
Altman Siegel is pleased to present our winter group show, New Year’s Day Swimmers, featuring the work of Laeh Glenn, Sanya Kantarovsky, Sara VanDerBeek and Emily Wardill. Although each of these artists has a very distinct style, medium and conceptual practice, the works in this show are united by a certain fluidity of movement and form. Several of the pieces are figurative and represent either literally or abstractly the body in motion. Others reference space and the environment a form or body exists within.
